People always ask me "what are you working on?"  Well, I'll tell you.  Check here for a monthly update on my Knitting Journey.

CLASSES
Join us to learn to knit socks or needle felting or join our new Knit Night, a general class that helps you through whatever you are working on or want to start.
Other classes are available by Request.  We have a list of classes offered at Spin A Yarn and a list of times we teach them.  Just cut and paste the form on our Classes page and email it to me. 
Join us for Knit 'n Knibble, where we'll eat a little and work on a quick project. (There are still a few openings for the Needle Felting, September 1 or 13). 

• SPIN A YARN'S 3rd ANNUAL YARN TASTING
  Sunday, October 3, 2010  1-4pm  (see above for details)
• Tuesday Morning Sit 'n Knit - Bring your knitting project to SPIN A YARN on Tuesday mornings from 10:30-12 and Sit 'n Knit. Come, relax and enjoy other knitters while knitting a row or two.
• Thursday Night Sit 'n Knit - Bring your knitting project to SPIN A YARN on Thursday nights from 6:00-7:30pm and Sit 'n Knit.  Relax and enjoy the company of other knitters while knitting a row or two on your current project.
• NEW!!  Tuesday Night Knit Class (Level: Beginner or more) This is a general knitting class.  You can work on any project or technique and a teacher will be available for all the assistance you need.  The group may even decide to work on a project together.  $10 a session, advance registration is required.  Tuesdays (ongoing) 5:30-7pm
• NEW!!  Saturday Sit 'n Knit - Bring your knitting project to SPIN A YARN on Saturday afternoons from 1-3 and Sit 'n Knit. Come, relax and enjoy the company of other knitters while knitting a row or two.  
  (These are informal social gathering, knitters of all levels are welcome.)

TEDDY'S TIP:
If your yarn smells musty after storage, you can put 2 or 3 drops of lavender oil on a cotton ball, wrap it loosely in a little plastic and put it in your yarn bag with your yarn and your work.  Or keep a bar of soap in your yarn bag.  Both will make it all smell good.  Any oil  or soap of your choice will do.
